Let yourself be fascinated by the amazing lives of bees in a genuine countryside environment on the island of Orust – a part of West Sweden.

Here at the Honey Farm, you can relax with a coffee and treat or light lunch at our café. Choose from locally produced, organic or Fairtrade products in our farm shop. You can also explore our Bee expo and learn more about bees and their vital importance to the environment and us humans.

Bees need flowers – flowers need bees. That’s why you can also buy viable flowers and plants from Käergården here. If you want to learn more about bees, you can visit our bee exhibition and exhibition hive with living bees behind glass.

We also offer accommodation for guests wanting to stay a bit longer. Choose from our harmonious rooms or our unique accommodation in the Beehive.

Café, bee expo and guest toilets have disability access. There are play opportunities for children.

While we specialise in honey, there is a lot more to enjoy here than great honey.

If arriving by car: when you reach Varekil from the south, turn left towards Ellös into road 178 and at the Tegneby intersection, turn left and follow the signs. From the north, turn off road 160 at Henån and follow the road towards Ellös. In the three-way intersection, head towards Tegneby and from the Tegneby intersection, follow the signs for Tavlebord.

If travelling by public transport, catch the bus to Tegneby intersection and walk about 300 metres.
