Bee-safari – an adventure to the bee farm

We suit up in bee overalls and jump in to the bee-safari wagon to go with our Beekeeper Helge out to the hives. Helge shows us on sight how the bees live and work and you get the chance to learn more about these fantastic little creatures! Observe! – Only in Swedish.

We get to taste the fresh honey directly from the frames. We will also get the chance to taste the bees protein source, beebread (fermented pollen) and see how they build with their own beeswax etc.

The tour goes on Fridays at 11:00 am during summer July 3rd – Aug 7th. Duration approx. 60 min.

Our bees are “friendly/non aggressive” but if you know that you are allergic to bee stings we do not recommend this tour for you. Please visit our exhibition and show hive instead.

You get to borrow a bee overall and boots. If you have boots of your own they may fit you better and there for be preferred.
